Mark Daigneault addresses Devin Booker's 'secret is out' comment on OKC
After the Thunder barely escaped the Suns in their West Group A matchup, Booker revealed that the 'secret is out' in terms of how OKC plays defense. He said their physical brand of defense has helped them speed up opponents in their decisions. That segues to a bunch of turnovers.
Booker, previously announced this week, was set to be re-evaluated after seven days thanks to a groin injury suffered against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ahead of their matchup against the Houston Rockets, Suns coach Jordan Ott gave an encouraging update to Booker's progress:
Booker, who scored 21 in the earlier meeting against Oklahoma City, has missed the last two games after sustaining a right groin strain Dec. 1 but Suns coach Jordan Ott left open the possibility Booker would return against the Thunder. He was listed as questionable on Tuesday's injury report.
