A day after the season’s first winter weather advisory left some schools closed and others on delays, the rest of the week should stay on the chilly side with another chance of snow in.
Winter cold will continue for the foreseeable future. Light snow may impact the area Friday afternoon and evening.

Winter weather brings snowy, ice conditions to Western Maryland
The early morning weather challenges did look as if they would be that daunting, but by the breakfast hour, caution was advised.

On Tuesday morning, Washington County residents woke up to a winter wonderland, with snow blanketing cars and trees.
Meteorologist Stevie Daniels says the work week starts off dry and cold, before the weather pattern becomes more active on Tuesday. A mixed bag of precipitation is expected!
The wintry weather is forecast to remain north and west of the city, with Baltimore expected to see mostly showers overnight and into the morning. The NWS forecasts a chance of sleet and rain after 5 a.m. Tuesday. The high for Tuesday should be in the low 40s, while overnight lows will likely drop to the upper 20s.
