On his podcast, the The Ringer founder proposed a straight-up swap between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, sending LeBron James to the Bay Area and Jimmy Butler to Los Angeles, per Yahoo.

The LA Lakers have been competitive with the Big 3 of LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves. However, NBA insider Bill Simmons believes they can make the team more interesting.

LeBron James for Jimmy Butler trade would be an interesting move. Bron makes $52.6 million this season and Jimmy $54.1 million. You can make a direct swap without needing to add fillers or sacrificing rotation players to make the financial aspect work. Basketball-wise, it also makes a lot of sense.
