The New Orleans Pelicans release an injury update for Zion Williamson heading into Monday's game with the Utah Jazz.

Zion Williamson has been cleared to play and is expected to make his return to the starting lineup when the New Orleans Pelicans host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

Zion Williamson was suspended one game by the Pelicans for arriving late to the team’s flight to Philadelphia, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania . He’ll miss New Orleans’ Friday night game against the 76ers as a result.

The Pelicans suspended Williamson for Friday's game with the Philadelphia 76ers after he showed up significantly late for the team's flight on Thursday. Williamson apologized to his teammates and to owner Gayle Benson, releasing a statement that said in part:
