The event previously known as the Los Angeles Open has been held at the Riviera Country Club, located in the Pacific ... people have died in the Southern California fires in recent days.

Every year in February, the Genesis Invitational is held at Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades. It is one of the most prestigious events this side of major championships and is hosted by Tiger Woods.

Next month's Genesis Invitational will be relocated away from Riviera Country Club following the fires that have ravaged Los Angeles.

The PGA Tour says it hasn't made a decision on whether it will move next month's Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club because of the Pacific Palisades fire.
