The pink piano was found broken and tipped over Saturday in the Southwest Portland park. It was fine and people were playing it as of midday Friday, according to a photo on social media.

The trees colored in Smurf-blue are long gone in downtown’s Westlake Park, but now its usual crop of bistro tables and chairs have been replaced by jazzier versions in electric blue and canary yellow.

But the coup was obtaining a pink Yamaha grand piano, which was found on Craigslist for $9,500 by the bar's previous manager, Julian Figueroa. A small stage was built and the piano was placed on top.
