Ohio State answered a late first half score by Jaydon Blue of the 'Horns with a 75-yard screen pass touchdown to TreVeyon Henderson just before halftime to make the score 14-7. A Sawyer strip, sack and touchdown return made the score 28-14, a score the Buckeyes would never look back from en route to their win.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Ohio State coach Ryan Day is now one win away from a national title, just weeks after it seemed the program was in long-term trouble. Now, after three-straight playoff wins, the Buckeyes will face Notre Dame in the national title game on Jan. 20.

In the quarterfinals, Ohio State had to go up against the top seed in the CFP: Oregon. Everyone was expecting it to be the game of the playoff as the Ducks narrowly beat the Buckeyes in the regular season, but it ended up being a complete dud. Halfway through the second quarter, Ohio State was up 31-0. The Buckeye cruised to another easy win.

The Ohio State football team arrived in Atlanta on Friday, and it didn’t take long for us to hear from head coach Ryan Day and some of the team.
