Vision from a helicopter has captured two people wading to safety after their car was swept away by floodwaters, amid heavy rainfall in parts of Far North Queensland.
Like any Queensland small and medium enterprise owner, Olenka Muzik knows the harsh reality of operating in an environment in which natural disasters have become a part of business life.
The Tully River at Euramo is likely to reach the moderate flood level (8.00 m) late Saturday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
