SEPTA fares are going up on subways, trolleys, and buses, beginning on Sunday, Dec. 1. The board approved the 7.5 percent increase earlier this month, as the transit agency faces a massive $240 million budget deficit.

The 7.5% hike raises Travel Wallet transit fares from $2 to $2.50. Most single-trip fares on Regional Rail will increase as well. But all daily, weekly and monthly passes will stay the same price.
