Nearly a year after Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell passed away at the age of 29 amid her battle with cancer, Mama June Shannon spoke out about how her family has managed without her eldest daughter. While speaking to PEOPLE recently,

Cardwell was diagnosed with stage IV adrenal carcinoma in January 2023 after experiencing stomach aches. The cancer was also found in her liver, kidney and lung. In May, the family revealed that the cancer was terminal. Cardwell is the mom of two daughters.
