Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland and Walt Disney World is a Star Wars fan’s dream come true in many ways. But one thing about it that no one is happy with is the fixed timeline to the sequel trilogy.

Needless to say, a lot of fans are quite happy to see Luke Skywalker finally appear as a character in Galaxy’s Edge. They were disappointed that the previous story prevented him from showing up. The land was supposed to be set following the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, so even having an older Luke appear was off the table.

Up until now, old school characters from the original Star Wars trilogy had been banned from Black Spire Outpost by Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm.

From its inception, Disney Plus has made Star Wars a focal point for creating unique and original content, which has led to some fantastic television shows. They have focused on different timelines, some bringing in Star Wars characters that people know and love, while others have featured more obscure or completely new names.

The Jedi Master will soon make his West Coast debut, further shattering the setting for the Star Wars theme park universe.
