Tuesday, Action 2 News was given the opportunity to explore Appleton International Airport’s concourse construction. The $66 million, 4700-square-foot expansion will more than double the size of the airport when its completed.

The project's completion will more than double the size of the concourse, to keep up with the continued growth of Wisconsin’s third-busiest airport.

Construction at Appleton International Airport is expected to be complete by next month’s NFL Draft. According to WLUK-TV, a nearly 47,000-square-foot addition -- twice the size of the existing concourse -- is almost complete.
