Two NJ Transit trains collided on the Montclair-Boonton Line Friday night, injuring 17 people, officials said. At around 6:47 p.m., the two trains made contact in Montclair west of Bay Street, NJ Transit officials said. The collision led to a minor derailment. Officials described the injuries as non-life-threatening.
