Bengaluru's new twin tunnel project will use slurry tunnel boring machines, opting against hard rock TBMs after an evaluation of the city's subsurface.

The Yellow Line, built at a cost of Rs 5,056.99 crore, features 16 stations and is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion, especially at the infamously congested Silk Board Junction.
