French-Palestinian Member of the European Parliament Rima Hassan said Thursday that a new aid ship is “almost ready to depart” for Gaza in remarks following her return to Paris after being detained earlier this week by Israeli authorities.
Over 5,000 people flooded into the centre of Paris on Thursday night to show their solidarity with Palestinians. They rushed to welcome Rima Hassan, who was part of a 12 person crew of the Madleen aid ship hijacked by Israel.
