Seattle Storm legend Sue Bird became the first player in WNBA history to have a statue erected outside a team's home arena.

A statue honoring former Storm F Sue Bird was unveiled Sunday by the entrance at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

The Phoenix Mercury lost a close one against the Las Vegas Aces, but they bounced back with a win on the road.
