Vladimir Putin held a meeting at the Kremlin with Andrei Nikitin to offer him the position of Acting Minister of Transport.

The President signed the Executive Order On Roman Starovoit. By his Executive Order, the President relieved Roman Starovoit of his duties as Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.

By Executive Order, the President appointed Andrei Nikitin as Acting Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, to serve in this capacity until a Minister is formally appointed.
