Additionally, this winter storm is expected to produce lake effect snow for areas east of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. As shared in Hochul’s release, the areas around Buffalo and Watertown are forecast to receive upward of 2 feet of snow.

An updated winter storm watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 11:31 a.m. EST valid from 7 p.m. EST until Thursday 7 p.m. EST for Mason, Lake, Osceola, Oceana, Newaygo and Muskegon counties.
