But Sunday’s 12-team reveal wasn’t without some drama. Even with a dozen teams in the playoff field, the selection committee couldn’t avoid a few snubs.

The University of South Carolina’s 2025 football schedule was revealed tonight by the Southeastern Conference. The schedule opens with a nationally-televised Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium against Virginia Tech on Sunday, Aug. 31, and features seven home games.
