Rakestraw, Detroit’s second-round pick, has been dealing with a hamstring injury. It sounds like he has a good chance to return from injured reserve at some point during the playoffs. With Arnold banged up and Davis set to miss the rest of the season, getting a talented corner like Rakestraw back would be nice for Detroit’s secondary depth.

The Lions will take Wednesday off, practice Thursday, then take the weekend off before returning to prepare for the first playoff game next week.

Montgomery opted to rehab a knee injury instead of undergoing season-ending surgery in hopes of returning for the playoffs.
