Wisconsin Anglers gathered together at Rice Lake for a fun family fishing day to try catching their first fish of the season.

Governor's Fishing Opener was held on Rice Lake in Barron County. Gov. Tony Evers caught a northern pike, largemouth bass and several bluegills.

It's a beautiful weekend for fishing. In Rice Lake the Governor's Fishing Opener kicked off the Wisconsin season Saturday.
