As of Saturday morning, Oklahoma has added 15 new pieces out of the transfer portal. General manager Jim Nagy and his front office staff got to work quickly, earning seven commitments on the heels of the first official weekend of the transfer protal being open. The Sooners have addressed a number of needs already through the portal.

Oklahoma State transfer, Vols' commit signs with Baylor football
Former Oklahoma State wide receiver and return specialist Gavin Freeman entered the NCAA transfer portal and committed to Tennessee football on Jan. 10. He decommitted from the Vols on Thursday and signed with Baylor, according to Pete Nakos of On3.
George Cumby, one of the best linebackers in Oklahoma football history, was named to the 2026 College Football Hall of Fame Class, it was announced Wednesday by the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame. Cumby will be the 25th former Sooners player in the hall.
Clinton announced the hiring of Trevor Powers as its new head football coach. Powers spent this past season at Liberal, Kansas, but he has Oklahoma roots.
