A way-too-early look at what the starting lineup could look like for the Oklahoma Sooners when they take the field in the 2026 season.

OU landed a commitment from former Tennessee tight end Jack Van Dorselaer on Friday morning. He is the first commitment for new Oklahoma tight ends coach Jason Witten, who was officially announced for his new role on Thursday. Not only does Witten swipe a TE from another SEC program, he is robbing his alma mater to help the Sooners.

Colorado has secured the commitment of former Oklahoma DB Jaydan Hardy, adding another Power 4 transfer to Coach Prime’s roster.

The Oklahoma Sooners are among the top three teams in pursuit of 247Sports No. 1 running back in the 2028 recruiting class.

Former Georgia State defensive lineman Bishop Thomas has committed to play for Oklahoma out of the transfer portal. Thomas played one year at Florida State in 2022, before playing at Colorado in 2023. He's spent the last two seasons with the Panthers, and he had a big season as a redshirt junior in 2025.

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. Four-star safety Semaj Stanford named Tennessee in his top 12 schools, along with Alabama, Oregon, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Miami and Ohio State. "Top 12," Stanford announced.

Oklahoma State football made a pair of important additions from Power Four programs via the transfer portal on Sunday night. The most notable pickup was defensive tackle Dominic Macon, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound transfer who redshirted this past season at Washington.
