A man was shot Wednesday afternoon on busy Clark Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.The shooting happened right before sunset on the east side of Clark Street in the 2400 block.The Chicago Fire Department said one man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.

A man was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood Wednesday.

There was a large police presence on the city’s North Side on Wednesday night after a person was shot near the Lincoln Park Zoo. According to Chicago Fire officials, one person was injured in a shooting that unfolded near North Clark Street and West Fullerton Avenue,

The shooting happened on busy Clark Street just north of Fullerton Parkway. Kris Habermehl reports from CBS Skywatch.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, a man, 40 sustained two gunshot wounds while on Clark Street, just north of Fullerton Avenue. He was transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and was initially listed in critical condition.
