Tensions are escalating in Los Angeles after protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement gripped the city on Sunday, with demonstrators clashing with law enforcement and setting vehicles on fire downtown.

A curfew has been enacted for downtown Los Angeles from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. amid the ongoing anti-ICE protests, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced.

The address comes just hours after a federal judge declined to block President Donald Trump's deployment of the National Guard and Marines to Los Angeles.
