Russian air defense systems shot down 105 Ukrainian drones overnight on May 22, including 35 intercepted over Moscow Oblast, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that all the drones were flying toward the Russian capital.

Kanimozhi-Led Indian Delegation Lands Safely In Moscow After Drone Scare An Indian parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi faced mid-air delays after their flight to Moscow was disrupted due to a reported Ukrainian drone attack near the Russian capital.

The flight carrying DMK MP Kanimozhi-led Operation Sindoor delegation to Moscow had to circle in the sky for some time due to a drone attack on Russia, but later landed safely on Thursday night, news agency PTI reported, citing sources. Sources close to Kanimozhi, a Lok Sabha member, said the flight had to circle mid-air, as per the report.

Ukraine's military launched what has been described as the largest drone assault on Russian territory since March.

Our position is very simple we cannot take responsibility for what happens on the territory of the Russian Federation,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, highlighting the nature of the geopolitical tensions now playing themselves out across Moscow’s airspaces.
