Newcastle United have agreed a £55m fee with Nottingham Forest for Sweden winger Anthony Elanga.Newcastle are seeking to strengthen their attacking options as they prepare for their return to the Champions League following a fifth-placed Premier League finish last season.

English Premier League (EPL) club Newcastle United has agreed to shell out a mind-boggling £55 million fee to Nottingham Forest to sign on Anthony Elanga. Newcastle United, also known as the Magpies, had earlier seen a £45 million bid go rejected last month but the Forest have accepted the new amount of £55 million.

A deal consisting of an initial fee of £52million ($70.7m) plus bonuses that are considered difficult to reach has been agreed
