Brentford have no intention of selling Yoane Wissa this month, after Nottingham Forest made a bid of around £20 million for the striker.

Brentford forward Yoane Wissa is the subject of a January transfer bid from Champions League-chasing Nottingham Forest; Brentford do not want to sell the player and are expected to turn down the offer;

The report by Ornstein on X (formerly Twitter) states that Forest have submitted a bid for Wissa, in the region of £22million as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of a Champions League push. However, their bid is 'significantly' below Brentford's valuation of the 28-year-old, and it will not be accepted.

Nottingham Forest have submitted a £22million bid to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford. Forest’s proposal is significantly below Brentford’s valuation of the forward, whose current contract runs through to 2026.

Brentford are expected to reject this bid out of hand and are not keen to sell. The offer is understood to have been lower than £22m - far short of their valuation of the forward. Wissa is one of Forest's top targets and they were interested in him last summer.
