Penn State adds another former Iowa State player to the roster, wide receiver Karon Brookins. After Matt Campbell officially took the Penn State job, Brookins was one of the first players who announced they’d be entering the transfer portal. After having visited over the weekend, the former Cyclone receiver is now a Nittany Lion.

Nittany Lions coach Matt Campbell has raided more than a dozen players from his former Iowa State roster, with others to come.

Penn State has added its second former Iowa State wide receiver via the transfer portal. Karon Brookins committed to Penn State on Sunday, he announced on social media. A class of 2025 freshman, Brookins did not appear in game action for Iowa State but in an intriguing pickup.

With Penn State seeing a number of tight ends entering the transfer portal, the addition of Benjamin Brahmer is a welcome one to get the transfer portal season started. Brahmer was a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award for the nation's top tight end in 2025. Brahmer caught 37 passes for 436 yards and 6 touchdowns with Iowa State in 2025.

Penn State nickel defender Kenny Woseley Jr. has made his 2026 decision. A redshirt freshman in 2025, Woseley has decided to enter the transfer portal. A defensive standout from Imhotep Charter where he was a teammate of Penn State wide receiver Tyseer Denmark, Woseley saw action in the slot.
