Penn State adds another former Iowa State player to the roster, wide receiver Karon Brookins. After Matt Campbell officially took the Penn State job, Brookins was one of the first players who announced they’d be entering the transfer portal. After having visited over the weekend, the former Cyclone receiver is now a Nittany Lion.

Brahmer was a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award for the nation's top tight end in 2025. Brahmer caught 37 passes for 436 yards and 6 touchdowns with Iowa State in 2025.
