The Pittsburgh Pirates fan who fell 21 feet onto the warning track at PNC Park during an April 30 game against the Chicago Cubs gave an update on his condition for the first time on Wednesday.

Pittsburgh Pirates fan Kavan Markwood, 20, spoke for the first time since his terrifying fall more than 20 feet onto the warning track at PNC Park last week.

The fan who fell onto the field at PNC Park last week, identified as Kavan Markwood, took his first steps since the incident on Monday, according to a post on a fundraiser set up by the mother Markwood’s girlfriend.
