Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans next February will have a hometown feel before the game gets underway. Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle and Ledisi will perform pregame on Feb. 9, the NFL announced Thursday.

The NFL announced on Thanksgiving that the Super Bowl LIX pre-game telecast will spotlight singers and musicians from New Orleans and Louisiana. Jon Batiste, who grew up in Kenner and attended St. Augustine High School and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, will sing the national anthem in the Caesars Superdome ahead of kickoff on Feb. 9.

Lauren Daigle is a Louisiana native and multiple Grammy, American Music and Billboard Music Award winner known for her powerful voice and chart-topping hits.
