Diego Pavia threw for 268 yards and a touchdown and ran for 165 yards and another score to lead No. 12 Vanderbilt to a 45-24 win over No. 18 Tennessee.

A 17-yard run moved the Commodores down to the Tennessee 32-yard line at the two-minute timeout. Vanderbilt made their way into the redzone, and after a roughing the passer penalty, ended up in the endzone to tie the game with 12 seconds remaining in the half.

Vanderbilt defeated Tennessee at Neyland Stadium for the Commodores’ 10th win of the 2025 season. It marks the first time in program history that Vandy has won 10 games.

It is the second time Javier Pavia has been arrested for public intoxication at a Vanderbilt game this season.

From the quarterback to the second-half defense, just about everything went the Commodores away at Neyland Stadium.
