While Shedeur Sanders and Jaxson Dart both had memorable NFL debuts, the first preseason action for fellow rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers was anything but as he struggled mightily for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Ewers led Texas to back-to-back College Football Playoff semifinals, but his injury history was part of the reason he slid to the seventh round. Over the first few weeks of training camp, it looked as if the Dolphins got the steal of the draft.

Quinn Ewers got his first taste of NFL action in the Dolphins' 24-24 preseason tie with the Bears on Sunday, and he certainly looked like a rookie.
