Jun 29, 2010 · Last time I checked it wasnt open anymore (the tackle shop at st. paul), you can get skipjack in alton, IL at the bait and tackle store there, most people around here stock up on them in the winter by making trips down to tennesse. You can catch them around here around alton, but right now is not the best time with the river like it is.

Also, when it's been cooked like that you can see all the fine hairlike bones running through it easier.
