May 26, 2019 · I bought a SuperMicro X10DRH-CT and all works fine. But it come with password in Bios and IPMI. I was able to reset the IPMI password using ipmitool For the Bios password, i tried to clear the CMOS by using the JBT1 shortcut with a screwdriver but with no luck... Have you a best way to do a password reset ?

Oct 3, 2020 · Shorting the JBT1 to clear the CMOS and removing battery first - did let me into the bios once, but after a reboot it seems to go back to the previously saved settings. I used RUFUS to create a freedos bootable usb drive and putting the latest bios on the flashdrive.
