lots of features for the money

All the necessary assembly parts were in the box. The short handled screw driver was good for the tight spots, but when I had more space, I used my favorite rachett screw driver with a comfy handle. Read the directions carefully so I did not need to undo/redo anything, but still took over 3 hours to assemble.\n\nThis design is well thought out and really practical. I like being able to put my feet on the lower, base platform and a cup of coffee on the horizontal shelf just below the tilt and height adjustable top--just don't try to adjust while the cup of coffee is on the shelf below! Having a wider second shelf would let me put on my full size key board, that I hook up my lap top to, more easily; not wide enuf as is. So far I've kept the height adjustment set at the one height for use sitting, and just vary the tilt. If you want to shift frequently from sitting to using standing, the height adjustment might be too clumsy. I've put marks on the vertical and tilt supports to indicate the positions I prefer so I can go back to them after changes.

This is the perfect cart to hold my laptop and recipes/meal-planning books in my kitchen. I can stand at it, or lower the top for sitting down. It hold lots of stuff, even my purse on the bottom edge! There's room on the top for a mouse, as well.\n\nEven when the top is raised all the way, the balance is still good; I haven't worried that it was going to tip over, even with a laptop and other stuff stacked on top. It fits into fairly small spaces; I can roll it right up next to the sink so that I can watch movies while washing dishes.\n\nThe only drawback is that the "woodgrain" laminate is TERRIBLE. It looks like an awful old xerox photocopy of wood grain onto thick, almost orange, laminate. If I had it to do over again, I'd get the black, instead.\n\nOther than that, this is a great cart, and I highly recommend it!

To be clear, if you're looking for a nice piece of furniture, don't buy this cart. I gave it an excellent review because it's better than I expected ... for the price. I had no trouble putting it together (and normally I'm screaming after 30 minutes!) and it seem very solid. I have a tiny room and needed something to hold my rarely-used-but-needs-to-be-convenient sewing machine and this is perfect. It's tucks in a corner, is sturdy enough to hold the machine at the right height, and has room for some the storage. I'm not a seamstress but do frequently need to repair a tear, so this cart keeps it handy without taking up a lot of space. It does seem sturdy enough to last for a while, but I wouldn't want it in one of the main rooms of my house because it's (obviously) just pressed board covered with contact paper. Like I said, nice enough to tuck into a corner of a secondary room. I can't imagine better for the little money that this costs!

This exceeded my expectations. It is sturdy and easy to move. I use it to move around in the hospital as a floor pharmacist. I use the metal guide on the top as a handle for moving it about. It frees me from juggling my laptop and paperwork. I added a small plastic drawer organizer in the cubby space for pens, calculator, stapler, paperclips, etc. I have plenty of room for patient counseling handouts and a couple of go-to reference books in the bottom. It is easily adjusted, but I think it would wear if adjusted a lot because the knobs leave bolt marks on the metal. I just picked a height that I could stand or sit using the rolling doc chair in the rooms. Dietary took pics of it because they want one!\n\nThe only drawback is that the plastic wheels do make noise if rolling at a good clip on textured hard flooring. It is fine on the industrial carpet squares.

This little desk is amazing! I use it beside my sewing machine to watch tutorials. My husband and I assembled it in a little over and hour. Instructions are clear. The desk is sturdy. The small storage compartment is ideal for keeping earbuds, mouse, video camera, etc., and there's a book storage area where I keep sewing books. Books up to 10" x 12" fit nicely. There's also room for your feet on either side of the book storage if you like to sit closer to the computer. Don't expect room for other than a laptop and mouse on top, but if you need a small desk with adjustable tilt for laptop computer and a bit of extra storage space for a hobby, I recommend it highly. Just make sure to look at dimensions before purchase. The desk is really built for smaller framed persons.

After putting my cart together, which was pretty easy, I couldn't believe how nice the wood was (I purchased the black cart). I LOVE all the storage underneath and I was quite impressed how sturdy it is. When we are not using our laptop, it's so convenient to just roll it out of the way and it looks like it is a piece of actual furniture. I didn't really have a place to put my laptop other then on my table, which I couldn't stand, and the height adjustment allowed me to adjust it as tall as my kitchen table so I more less am able to use my laptop just as if it was on my table, but can roll it out of the way when not in use!!! GREAT product, GREAT price and GREAT service!!! DEFINITELY not sorry I bought this laptop cart and would recommend it to anyone!!!

The instructions were clear (but you had better read through them first, as recommended). Assembly was straight forward and easy and should be OK for anyone who has performed similar assembly tasks. When finished, it looked just like your display photo. I tried several ideas and desks before getting this one. Thanks to other reviews I thought this might work better though I didn't want to spend the extra cash. Well it was worth it because it does the trick. I now have a convertible sit down to stand up desk as it hurts me to sit down or stand up for too long at a time. The wheels lock in front and the platform is fully height convertible-I mean it doesn't just change from hole to hole height but slides up and down for complete customizability. There is a handle in back if you need to pull it behind you as one person said they use it as a nurse's station I can see that would be useful. You have to know how to assemble things because the instructions make no sense. I recommend it!

I am very pleased with this product - I sit at a computer or drive for far too long daily - and being able to stand and do simple tasks on one is a relief.\n\nThe directions were clear enough. I set out everything included in the box and separated the pieces needed into steps. That helped me avoid mistakes I might have made if I had started attaching pieces more carelessly.\n\nI used a long phillips head screwdriver to attach the casters ( a small one provided) and a hammer for tapping pieces together. Other than that everything you need is provided.\n\nFollow directions carefully, review everything before you start, the level difficulty is acceptable - it is a very attractive little piece of furniture.

Overall, this desk is wonderful...
Reviewed on www.homedepot.com·Mary
Overall, this desk is wonderful compared to what I was using for this Covid telework thing. However, there are things about this desk that are both good and bad. It was fairly easy to put together once I figured out the push-in screws. It took me 3 hours to assemble while watching TV and talking on the phone. It seems sturdy enough. When I'm seated I can rest my feet on the bottom of the unit, and because I'm short, the seated height of the desk matches my standing height. My beef is about the top of the unit. It slants when I didn't intend to slant it. My laptop fell off once! Not nice!! I decided to use two 8-inch zip ties to keep the top a bit more stationary. I'll have to add two more though. It still moves! My other criticism is the space. I'd like to add an external monitor, but it will never work with this unit.

This is a handy and well built work surface. My husband, a tough critic of these types of things, assembled it quickly and said it is well planned and the parts are all good quality. \nI am using it for a standing desk option. My laptop fits perfectly and the height is comfortable for working. The lightly textured work surface has just enough space for my 15” MacBook Pro. I find it easy to raise and lower, and it rolls smoothly. I have considered buying a second one for using at home for crafting. \nI would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact way to stand while working.

I needed a stand up desk desperatly, but they were so expensive. I came across this during a search and it was a no brainer. It was easy to assemble, and came with all the tools you needed. It holds my laptop and mouse perfectly on the top shelve. I have my coffee, work books, post it notes and a pen holder all on the mobile cart. Best thing about it is that it's easy to move in and out of the cubby of my L shaped desk. Material is durable and strong. I like that it's on wheels and can be locked. Also, the top shelf is adjustable so I can move it depending on what shoes I am wearing.

This was a little tricky to put together, I definitely have some gaps in between the boards. However, now that it's put together, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's small, easy to move from room to room and to adjust the height. It does tip if my arms put too much weight on the top while typing. I'm not worried about my laptop falling off and it's nice to be able to tuck away in the closet when we aren't using it.

It was fairly easy to assemble until I got to the part where one of the washers was missing. I contacted the company (RTA Products) and was informed they were in the process of relocating, so it would take a bit longer (about 7 to 10 days vs 2 -3 days) to get the replacement part. The part arrived 12 days later and I was able to complete assembly of the unit. It fit perfectly in the small space I had designated for it. I am very pleased with the customer support I received and the product is just what I had hoped for, sturdy and stylish!

I was proud of myself when I completed it, because it looked intimidating in the box. I love the height adjustment feature, and the adjustable laptop rest. I bought it online through my Amway partnership. It was shipped to the store a few days later, and I had no trouble picking it up. The clerk was very helpful. I would highly recommend. Thank U!

For the money, this is a fantastic product. It works just fine--both at a sitting level and at a standing level. Assembly is reasonably easy mainly due to clear instructions. The key is to make sure the locking connectors are as straight as possible. It helps to ream out the pre-drilled holes just a bit. This can be done with the screw driver that is supplied with the unit. Go slow and follow the instructions and assembly will be fine!

I have a long arm quilting machine. The way it was originally set up the keyboard had to swing out to accommodate larger quilts. Now I can keep my keyboard and mouse on this stand and move it wherever I need it. The only thing to improve this would be to allow room for keyboard and mouse. I got the needed result by moving the keyboard up to top and using a trackball mouse.
