I had a new box of 312 10 packs. My father in law was visiting and needed some batteries. I handed him one of these new packs and he was totally unable to get it open, Now it was my turn to try. It was awful. I have good use of both hands and was using kitchen shears. I had not imagined something so poorly designed.\r\nWhat if I had arthritis and poor vision? All I have to say here is that the product development people and admistrators who supervised this unholy packaging have totally failed their customer base. I for one will not purchase any more of their products.

I have always loved Rayovac hearing aid batteries because they last longer than other brands, but I can only find them in the new cut-open style. I don't mind doing this at home, but I wish I could carry them in my purse in the original container without having to cut open the whole thing and putting in another container. They are definitely child-proof and if I get bad arthritis, they are going to be adult proof for me! It would be great if we had the option.

I have had my hearing aids for about 3 years. I have tried many brands of batteries and been quite disappointed with most of them. The RayOVac 312 battery is in fact the longest lasting and easiest to install battery I have ever found.I buy the multipack of 16 so I never have to worry about a plentiful supply.Believe me when I say, you will never be disappointed with the RayOVac 312 battery in the 16 pack. I buy them direct from RayOVac to insure freshness and the best price. Try them , you will be very pleased that you did.

Our past experience has been that the batteries had very poor battery life; sometimes less than a day! The long lasting batteries we have just tried are much improved in the area of battery life. They have been lasting approximately 1 week. This is similar to other brands we have used.

Have bought for some time. Batteries are typically good with good life. Recently changed packaging, new package stinks. Childproof and a reason to raise prices while packaging fewer in the package. Interesting the website shows the new package (6) per package. Comments shows the old (8) per package. Now have to use scissors to open, handling sharp objects again....

This new packaging is super difficult to open! Using scissors you must cut thru that hard plastic and then pry the hard plastic apart so the battery will fall out. Directions were not very clear, so I may have not done it correctly, but WOW! Awful package! But batteries have a good life/usage.

If you wear hearing aids and use bar teries these are the ONLY one that last over a week and NEVER fade in power when running low They work great until hearing aid says battery low and most of the time you can remove batteries rub with eye glass cloth and get another 2-3 hrs use, if you are out shopping and hearing aids decide NOW is the time to mess with this guy 🤣

The batteries are great, last longer than other batteries I've tried. But the child-proof packaging is terrible. I'm a senior and have trouble opening the package. You need a lot of muscle in your hands to cut it open, and I don't want to carry scissors with me if I need to open the package away from home. Try again with a better package.

My husband and I both wear hearing aids so we go thru a lot of batteries. Love the batteries but the biggest problem we have is opening the new packages. I have arthritis and it is all I can do to get the packages and open, and he is never near a pair of scissors when he needs to open a package.

Rayovac batteries are highly recommended for hearing aids. They work vork very well. \n\nThe only issue might be a regulatory issue. It is very difficult for an elderly person to remove the batteries from the packaging. Otherwise my mother is very happy with the battery.

This is 2nd pack of batteries I have bought . No problem with the batteries, but the packaging is terrible . This child proof is also senior proof !! I am not weak in the hands and cannot get the battery out even with scissors without a major operation . I think of the elderly, living alone who have no assistance . Suggest a little less of child proof and more senior friendly .
