The final result is…. 🤯 🤩 Pretty amazing what we can do in these trauma situations. The very first time I walked into an operating room at a hospital was during a case like this. 🤯 It completely blew my mind as a Radiologic Technologist student in x-ray school. This particular surgery is done to stabilize the broken femur by inserting a metal rod up the (almost) entire length of the femur then stabilizing it with screws. This surgical technique can be used for distal and supracondillary femor
