Indian Railways on Thursday i.e. 7 August, operated its longest train ever, named "Rudrastra," from DDU Junction to Tori Junction in the East Central Railway zone. The train was formed by coupling six individual rakes, resulting in a 4.1 km long train with 354 wagons, hauled by seven WAG-9 locomotives. The journey began at 7:45 AM from Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, and the train reached Tori Junction at 1:45 AM, covering a distance of 352 km in approximately 18 hours with an average speed of
