Glossolalia, or speaking in tongues. The use of a non-language is also called 'Yaourt' in French. Glossolalia doesn’t always have a religious connotation in my opinion. Children for example, invent their own words when they don't know the lyrics to a song. The first voice recording for Hold On Tight was more or less a vocal improvisation to capture an initial idea, mimicking words that don’t really exist.
