Recently, staff from CDFW’s Darrah Springs Trout Hatchery crossed some rugged terrain to stock the Trinity River and one of its tributaries above Trinity Lake. One plant took place at the Eagle Creek Loop while the other occurred at Stuart Fork, a 14-mile-long tributary. Each stocking consisted of 500 pounds of rainbow trout at a catchable size.
