Atlantis Dunes Training Day. This was the first of the new 5 door Jimnys to join our group. At first the Jimny was struggling, so we dropped the tyre pressures to 0.5 bar. After that it managed very well. Atlantis Sand Driving Training Dave Child’s very heavy Nissan Patrol got stuck trying to recover an Amarok. We had to use our Land Cruiser with a kinetic recovery to get the Patrol back onto firmer sand. The recovery was complicated as the Patrol was still attached to the Amarok under tension.
