During a recent sea lion feeding and training session, our animal care team worked on crate training behavior with Buoy. All our sea lions are trained to be comfortable in a crate so we can transport them when needed. Entering the crate and holding still so the crate door can be safely closed, are just a few of the behaviors the sea lions learn. Positive reinforcement from keepers, including lots of fish, makes "crating" a rewarding experience for the animals! On your next visit, be sure to stop
