I decided to make a tote bag out of the leather scraps we have left from all of the leather straps that we sell, and the main idea was to do a woven panel first and then plan the rest as I went. These are 4 - 5 ounce leather scraps so thicker than I’m used to sewing, and I haven’t used my industrial machine in a couple of years. I was so excited to get to use it again now that it has a new home in my new sewing room so I thought this would be the perfect project. It was a bit a a wrestle! 😰Well
