Thousands of people breached the frontier with Morocco and poured into the Spanish territory of Cueta. At least 18 migrants have died, many having drowned in the effort to cross.

A large group of migrants can be seen escorted by police and military personnel toward the border in the Spanish exclave of Ceuta on Saturday.
